About the Author
Raised a Roman Catholic and wanting to become a priest, Jobson questioned the teachings of his religion, which seemed divisive, intimidating and discriminating toward humanity. Such factors, he believed, had led to many wars fought in the guise of "my God is better than your God." This zeal seemed to be the direct opposite of what Jobson’s psychic memories revealed.
Disillusioned and confused at the concept of heaven and hell, he was propelled into a lifelong search and study for truth and the nature of “God”. He traveled the world extensively, researching the different philosophies, cultures, deities and languages of various faiths. In his venture, he
concentrated his studies on the veiled realms —ontology, theosophy, eastern philosophy, Kabbalah, metaphysics, UFOs and psychic phenomena ― that revealed to him the inter-connectedness of all life. Thus, he shares a path to enlightenment that will enable readers to reach their greatest human potential, if they so desire. A practitioner of Vipassana meditation and frequent student visitor to India, he has studied Vedanta philosophy for over forty years.
His formal education began in Jamaica, where he attended the internationally accredited Priory School and Munro College. In 1967 he graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK, receiving the
Queen’s Commission as an Officer; retiring his commission from Her Majesty’s Service in 1976 as a Battle Group Commander.
A certified hypnotist, life coach and intuitive counselor, the author has guided others since the age of nineteen and continues to help those who seek his assistance, nationally and internationally. Jobson’s experience in spiritual counseling adds flair to his seminars, workshops and guest speaking presentations. He has been interviewed for radio and the print media. His thought-provoking technique challenges participants to expand their awareness. He is a published poet who has received an award for his poetry. A number of his poems are included in the book.
Jobson is an entrepreneurial whose experience includes developing a table sauce formula; executive producer of spiritual and pop music; directorships on many boards such as a hotel, fishing company, chambers of commerce and other private sector organizations, among them an international procurement company exporting US manufactured commercial and industrial goods and services.
His interests and hobbies include skydiving, soccer, boxing and travel. Jobson’s newly published book is more than a spiritual odyssey; it is a self-expansion reference tool.
